Newcastle Homeless Commission
From 2018 to 2022, the commission led the Street Zero project with the mission to make Newcastle a place where no one needs to sleep rough. Sum.Place developed the campaign from inception to completion, which included communications strategy, audience segmentation, consultation, engagement, digital and live campaign implementation.
A temporary city centre installation occupied an empty shop celebrating everyone who has pledged their support. We secured wide-ranging media, increased pledges of support, and endorsement from platinum-selling artist Jake Bugg.
