Our art installation at Picket Twenty Extension will celebrate the archaeological history of the site.
We’re creating a space for the community to spend time in nature. The installation will be land sculpture that celebrates the Bronze Age archaeology of the exact site. The grass mound shaped in a semi-circle will surround a small area with a clay tiled floor, a bespoke wooden bench, a mosaic tiled floor, and a small stone plinth in the centre.
The pattern for the mosaic tiled floor is inspired by the decoration on a Bronze Age Pot in Andover Museum. Thank you to everyone who voted for this design!
